Comorbidity and cancer risk

Dr Hannah Lennon, from the United Kingdom, is a postdoctoral fellow in the Nutritional Methodology and Biostatistics Group at IARC. Her work examines comorbidity of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer – three of the four most common noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). Because NCDs affect cancer risk, NCD research is important to IARC’s mission to prevent cancer.
